How to shop Online

How to find a product.

Find the product you are looking for by either searching for the specific item or browsing through a Milly’s category.

To Search
— type in the search box, the name or keyword of the product or the Milly’s item number from a Milly’s catalogue. If the search engine doesn’t bring up the correct product try putting in a more general name or keyword to bring up a larger list.

To Browse — All of our online products are organised into categories. Click on the SHOP menu on the top navigation bar and bring down the full list of categories from Cake Decorating to Wedding Gifts. Other ways of getting inspiration is to click on our SEASONS page for the current Seasons products and ideas or to click on the GIFT IDEAS pages.

Purchasing a product — adding it to the Shopping Basket.

Click on the item to reveal full details of sizes, price and the quantity selection column. At this stage you can also click on the image to see a larger image displayed. You always need to return, though, to the full detail page of the product family to place the order and select the quantity.

Select the quantity of the item you require and whether you wish to have the item gift wrapped or not. You can also request whether it is to be delivered to you or to another address. Then Click on the CHECKOUT button to add it to your Shopping Basket.
Note — you must have a quantity other than 0 selected to move to Checkout stage.

Your Shopping Basket.

This page will display the items that you have selected and waiting to be confirmed for purchase. You can add or delete as many items as you like with no commitment until you proceed to Checkout. You can go back and forth from the product pages to your Shopping Basket as often as you like by clicking the View Basket at the the top of any page.

- If you have completed shopping then click on CHECKOUT to proceed to the next stage of the order

Checkout Process.

The checkout process has 5 easy stages to follow —

1. Customer check
- If you have previously registered on the Milly’s website and have a customer number and password, simply click Continue as Already a Millys Customer and you do not need to fill in your customer details again.
- If you haven’t previously registered on the Milly’s website, then no worries, just press the Continue button in the Lower box and you can fill in your customer details in the next stage.

2. Billing Confirmation
Either fill in or check your postal address and contact details here, then Save and Continue.

3. Shipping Information.
At this stage you check or add the delivery address information.
You can also SEND A GIFT NOTE here — we include a gift card and personalised message to include with the purchase. Select yes and it will bring up a space to write in your message.
The COMMENTS BOX at this stage is to include any specific requests such as colour, size or a special style of gift wrap.

4. Review Order
Double check whether your details are correct and add your credit card information — then press PROCESS YOUR ORDER

5. Order Confirmation
All done! You will be given a unique order number and receive an email to your address giving your order details. Jot down your order number to keep a record immediately.

Want your gift wrapped?

We are happy to giftwrap your purchase for you at no extra cost. Just request the giftwrap option at the product detail/quantity stage. If you want a specific style of giftwrap such as wedding, children’s, Christmas etc please specify this in the Comments Box at Stage 3 Shipping Info. If not specified we will wrap the present in generic celebration style wrap and ribbon.

Want to include a gift card and personalised message?

In stage 3 Shipping Info, the system asks if you would like to SEND A GIFT NOTE? Yes or no. Specify yes and it brings up a box for you to write in a message.

If you miss the chance and your order is processed, don’t worry — just send us an email to customerservice@millys.co.nz with your message and we will include it with the order.

Payment by cheque.

We have endeavoured to make our online ordering as secure for you as possible, but if you are still reluctant to use a credit card online then you can pay by cheque. Simply go through the online selection process and print off your order before you reach the Stage 4 credit card information stage. Attach your cheque and mail it to Milly’s PO Box 47198 Ponsonby and we will process it as a mail order.

Delivery Details

Can I send a gift to another address other than my own?
Sure, request ‘other’ delivery address when you are first choosing the quantity of the product before checkout. At Stage 3 Shipping Information it will request you fill in the required delivery address details.

Courier deliver
Milly’s deliver all our packages and vouchers by courier. You need to supply a physical street address not a PO Box number. The courier must get a signature at delivery. If no one is present they will leave a card requesting you phone for a suitable time.

Delivery Costs
Standard freight costs apply — Within Auckland $4.50, Rest of North Island $7.50 and the South Island $12.75.

We are sorry but we do not deliver outside of New Zealand.

Delivery Time
Please allow up to 14 days for delivery. All going well and depending on a number of factors ( ie whether the item is in stock, courier schedules etc) you may receive the order well within this time.
